My S sits quite low to the ground and my exhusts clamps get battered to bits and have to be replaced on a regular basis ,i am toying with the idea of using big jubliee clips to hold the pipes together ,
Anyone done it ? and would it work ?

The exhaust clips on mine are the same...Although I don't need to replace them very often.

I would like to consider that the clamps are sacrificial and take all of the grounding.

If you used Jub' clips the the pipes would scrape instead. You would probably gain about 1/4 inch ground clearance in the process.

never really thought of that and there not that expensive it just the noise

I was wondering just this weekend which orientation the clamps should be in? Threaded ends pointing up,down or to the side, my are pointing down and don't like speed bumps!

Simon
