Spotted today on the southbound A1 at Durham at 1.15pm-ish, a dark blue Triumph Spitfire IV, with, what looked like, a black lab in the passenger seat!

Yep it was me. Took it to Snetterton for the weekend so my dad could go out on track as I was racing the 355 Challenge car. Epic weekend.

The reg is a give away as too old, plus no visible gearbox under the plate as the engine remains transverse. Other than that it’s a good match when I’ve parked next to a real one.

I was a good couple of hundred yards back from this so couldn't say for certain but a green D-Type Jag (replica I assume?), A1 N-bound coming off at Westerhope exit. Traffic stopped me from having a proper gawp!

I see a yellow S1 Elise on the A19 southbound as I’m travelling northbound in my LRG Evora 410 and even noticed him in tome enough to give a quick acknowledgement!

No, I could not see the VRM,as I was travelling on the Northbound carriageway and could only see that there was no visible gearbox in my rear view mirror, as we past each other.

I overtook KITT the other day on the spine road. Full replica by the looks of it, from the pilot steering wheel to the red heartbeat light. I used to see one on the way into Newcastle but not seen it in a few years. If it's the same one, must still be in the area.

Gold coloured Bitter coupe on the A1 on Friday afternoon near Morpeth then saw it again yesterday at the classic car show at the Aston workshop - rare car!

Driving past Wynyard today, I was passed by a rather wonderful Mustang. From our brief encounter, it was black with a stripe, and I think it may have been a classic 500 style ( not up to speed with Mustangs). Looked great in my rear view mirror, and he gave me a very friendly 'toot' on the horn as he went past. Once around the roundabout he gave it some throttle and I could hear it in all its glory.

Thank you sir. It was a delight.
