Shafto's Monday 25th

Piccies for those not present... ....
TVR corner....
Lots of Lotus...
For those following me home, the sudden rise in volume around Sedgefield was due to the air cleaner falling off
Must have scared the incontinence pants off the old dodderer in the white SAAB when I opened it up next to him...

Good to see you all.
Never been to Shafto's befor, and it was lovely to see the warm welcome we all got from the smilie waitress.....
Good job i had my Chimaera their to balance the Lotus numbers, even though i got well and trully spanked by a certain Yellow Elies on the way home.
I see our fiendly 'safety camera partnership' are using thier white van (with flashing orange lights!!) within the Washington Services roadworks again today.

That yellow one is quick, pulled away from me like i was stood still from the Red Tiles BP garage round about on the way to Lanchester. I wish i still had my Griffith 500 (oh and a clean licence!).
It must have been the extra drag from having the roof off, or cold tyres, or left the handbrake on, or something totally unrelated......

Come on you TVR owners, Lotus are staging a takeover. Good turnout and good food despite Shafto's best efforts to send us away.
Sorry I couldn't get there, had a nightmare time with the car - the car was ok, but the bloke working on it had his finger stuck up his arse most of the time. It finally rolled out the garage at 20:00 and I was knackered and starving, just had to go home for a rest.
One good point from it, I witnessed the Red Chim with the supercharger. Not only that, but the fella let me have a drive too

Its not going too well at the minute either cos I put the cat back in on Sunday and its really flat now. Been to see my exhaust man today to get a silenced cat replacement pipe made up. I look forward to spanking more TVRs in the near future.
p.s. I never went above 80.
Bu993r it all to hell, I've been recruiting like fury, in the Lotus camp, and the f**kers all turn up on the night I'm not there!!
I'm pretty sure Buttertubbs ain't on for me either, due to other circumstances, I'm esp annoyed that after all the background work I've done, people will think I'm some sort of Siren, enticing people in, until they're captured, then disappearing.
