North Shields area here, but I work in Washington so get to enjoy (not) the tyne tunnel run in the morning.

how weird is that! Malman and I met the other day playing UT2004 online (he recognised my username as docevi1). North Sheilds and Gateshead, what are the chances

3rrrt, you haven't parked in the quayside a while back did you? I saw a Noble down there a while back on an evening (Friday or more probably Saturday)...

Malman - I'm north shields too...

Oh and peeps - for what it's worth, the 205 is back on all four wheels now - it has it's nice new box in, I've got the struts on, it's sitting a little nearer terra firma and should be on the road on thursday - I'll be along to the next meet whenever it is!! (please don't say it's this coming wednesday! lol!)

That's the damage done to the box, the little hole in the diff casing measures about an inch or so across! the one on the inside is bigger and better but the photo I got of it was useless, so I'll get some better ones soon!

'Tis a bit loud but then so is the sports exhaust so it sort of evens it up a bit . I'll keep an eye out in the forum and maybe get to one of the meets. Went to Raby castle meet last year and had a great day out.

Docevi1, took me bloody ages to find out where you were hiding with that lightning gun.

Pleasure dude.

We are exhibiting at the 2004 Bike Show, Friday 16th - Sunday 18th, Birmingham NEC. If anyone would like to view our range of SCOTT bikes (Test Ride the new Genius full suspension bike) and accessories, there will be a welcome and drinks on our stand 9120. Loads of BMX also and 4X racing, dirt jumping etc. at the show.

Sorry I cannot make the Bolton Abbey gig with the Noble. Next time.

Cheers,
Ian.

Glad we both have similar enjoyment in toys.

Wow Ian, you work for SCOTT!! Until about 2 years ago (foot and mouth) I was big into Mountain Biking. Used to have a low end Scott for messing around on and a Univega as a main bike, with Maguras, Manitous, Mavic 519 etc. If only I was around I would have loved to come along to the show. I really want to get back into biking.

Tell me about it.
Haven't been serious for a few years and the bike is just gathering dust.
For the record it's a fully rigid Orange C16R. Nice N light.

If I can get my bike up in the North fancy going for a bit of a ride?

Hardtail for me, but would prefer a full sus. Better for going down hills.

I've riden a few full suspension bikes but never really got on with them.
I like the 'alive' feel of a light rigid bike.
It won't go down hills as fast as some, but it's still great fun.

I used to ride with the Beamish Odd Sox club, but don't know if they still exist.

I'm into climbing too, but that's also on hold until I get that feckin' Marcos on the road....

Hi there Bob,
Yeah its pretty good here. The engineering team consists of just 2 of us - so get 2 do a bit of everything.

Does anyone arrange drives around NE region? I have a kitcar and now that the weather is improving wouldn't mind getting amongst it with some other quick machines on the best roads in the UK

Anyone fancy organising something for early June?

Bob tends to do most of the organising for the NEPH group, send him your suggestions. I have a webpage to keep people posted but it desperately needs redoing and updating.

What type of kitcar have you got, my fiance has just got a robin hood so I am sure he would love to chat with you

As WD says I tend to land the job of organising drives, convoys, tours, for the NE group. It's not that I enjoy telling people what to do, it's just that I love driving in convoy with other nice cars and I get impatient waiting for plans to blossom so tend to take a lead. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them. Our next outing is this Sunday when we will be meeting up with other groups at Bolton Abbey. You're very welcome to join us. If not then just keep an eye on this forum. We tend to do something monthly once the weathers good.

hi there Tracey, kitcars are great, there's nothing better than playing with something that you made. Would luv 2 chat 2 your guy about kitcars. Mine's an MK Indy with a blade motor, photo on profile.
I have a big list of things I need to do with it though until I'm happy with it. I need to design a new drivetrain using that Quaife reversing diff and all ali shafts to get the weight down. New wheels, raised sump, redo gear linkage, blah blah blah - basically loads of stuff, list goes on. But it goes ok at the moment and so I should be up for any outing...

Thanks 4 the invite Bob, I might be able to make the next drive but I am riding on Sunday. On my lovely Scott bicycle once again fully functional Cheers again Ian.
