Hi folks, sorry i havent replied sooner, I've had an eventful weekend getting to and from Pembrey for the TVRCC racing.

Is this offer still open - tent etc would be fine with me if necessary?

Yes it is, tent probably won't be necessary, and i've got one anyway just incase. We've plenty of floor space, but only 4 spare beds. So if between us all, some dont mind a sofa (they're really comfy) or the floor or indeed a hammock, then great.

Hi, Dont worry, theres room!!!
For everyones benefit, this is the cast in stone timetable for this coming weekend...
There will be a number of cars leaving Nottingham to arrive at M6 Jct 16 Little Chef/Travel Lodge carpark (where all the sqiggles are) at 1100 (get intouch with minimax or EmmaP for details of what they're doing)
From there we'll travel to Malpas for a bit of lunch and pool here where the hockey stick is off the Chester Road (a carpark in behind the Fire Station about 50yds after the start of the 30 limit) edited to add At the bottom left of the carpark there is a drive that goes along and round the back of the building where we're stopping for lunch, feel free to use it edit ends

from Malpas to Trevor edited to addand walk over the aqueduct hopefully the weather will be good edit ends
Trevor to Worlds End

Worlds End, thru Mineral, Llandegla and the Horse shoe pass to Langollen see the Worlds End map.
Llangollen to overnight stop (ie my house) to freshen up before The Boat in Erbistock Erbistock at 1900

Sunday, a nice early orderly convoy, to Snowdon, A483, A5, A4086 Climb snowdon. If the weather is crap theres no point doing Snowdon, we'll just get wet and tired and thats no un, I'm going to look at a few alternatives in the same area just incase.

There are a few routes back from Snowdon to nottingham, A5 to M54, M6, M1 or A5 to A483, A534, A500, A50 or even A55 into Chester and make it up from there.

The list now is
Chassis 33* plus possibly my dad
EmmaP*
V15ben*
Minimax*
Quinny
Stone
Lexie*
Darren350
Mart 63
K50 DEL
Phoenix Viper (?)

Question, when going to the Boat does everyone want to drive their own cars, or car share with designated drivers or book a taxi?

Regards
Iain

I'm not much for alcohol, so I'm quite happy to be Des for the night - room for 4 more in my car.

Err...what am I doing on Saturday? Haven't thought too much past 11am later this morning. Seriously though, I'll drop Tom an email and we'll hatch some vague plan to meet you at 11am.

well the 5 day forcsts shows Saturday as 18oC and sunny in Crewe and Chester so we may be in luck.

The Snowdon weather forcast is only 48hrs in advance so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Sorry Guy's and Gals looks like we can't make this jaunt.

A previous appointment has now reared it's head so Unfortunately we have to go with the earlier gig.

Sorry this tour sounded just like my sort of thing.

Have a great time Guy's and Gal's and keep the shiny side up.

If anyone has a problem nearer the time then call me either on the mobile number some already have for me or on 07723 043198 (which I'd prefer on Saturday anyway) if its a girl who answers, it will be Lexie so be nice to her!

Just going to type up some course routes now.

I might tag along for the Saturday only - minus Mr Magpie who's living it up in Manchester on a lads weekend away. Plus he's taking the VXT so I'll be coming in the trusty MINI.
Hope it's not too late to rejoin!

Sure thats fine. Are you coming for the meal too? I need to confirm numbers thats all.

If you want to meet at Jct16 then its 1100 or Malpas (see maps further up the thread) if blasting up the A49/A41 is easier for you between 1200 and 1300.

Look forward to seeing you. Any problems my mobile number is further up the thread.

Yes, I think I'll stay for the meal and have a midnight drive back to Shropshire I reckon.

I won't be drinking and could give people a lift to the pub and back if needed, as long as you have very short or thin legs, in the back of the MINI.
