Xmas Break Meet
Discussion
If the concensus is that Wednesday is the better day (& to work around Mr Verts festive chaos), then shall we go for the Wednesday? If there's a smallish group of say 6-8 cars, then that's a good number as the roads won't be wide & it'll suit the more nimble cars for those with a choice
So, here's a list of possibles....
1. MrC986 (Mini)
2. Craikeybaby (MR2)
3. Fingers3 (350Z)
4. MrVert (GTi maybe )
5. Kenjb83 (GT something maybe?)
6. JTsp33d (GTi)

Going to have to use the Disco should I turn up as the Z is SORN
You're more than welcome to join us & hop in one of the cars (I'll have a spare seat for starters) & we can drop you back at the car afterwards.Edited by hilly10 on Wednesday 21st December 19:37
Craikeybaby - yes, I will definitely not be planning on making the route last into the afternoon.

If I can tag along on the 28th I might be in the M3.
Still thinking a Lichfield start?
Yes.... at McDs on the Bham Road at Wall Island (WS14 0QP) as it's a useful meeting point with an always welcoming fast food/coffeeStill thinking a Lichfield start?
I'm just defending the availability of the morning domestically as usual for this time of year
PS the weather looks cool but dry & fair currently

I've posted the meeting point postcode further up the thread - the intention being to leave at 08.30 from the gathering point. I'll bring a pair of walkie-talkies as the phone signal can be "iffy" although normal convoy rules will apply where the car in front must wait for the car behind at traffic junctions on the route.
Happy Christmas everyone & unless you've got lots of time on your hands, don't worry about making your cars super clean as they'll see some cr*p inevitably during the morning

Just realised I need to drop my Audi off at the dealers in the morning for a service so not sure I can make it now Will see how early I can drop it off..
Also any idea of the route? Ashbourne is pretty local to me so would save me coming down to litchfield if you were going that way?
