A bit of a 90's MaxPower feel to it...Poor event management (traffic was bad, even big events at Donnington are fine for this), few chavs, and a few nice motors.
Start charging and it could be a good event.
I guess variety is the slice of life. Some cars weren’t my cup of tea (at both ends of the spectrum) but there were plenty of things that were interesting.Start charging and it could be a good event.
Traffic on the way out was a bit slow (we missed it on the way in because we came cross country).

Yes a great event with a wide variety of cars and youtubers.
Leaving the venue was a little time consuming, but I can see why. A very well organised event and every one well behaved.
I do wonder though, how did they make money with the venue being free to enter. Surly Donnington would have had an event fee.
I spoke to one of the Collecting Cars guys. They didn’t make money out of it. When I asked why they did it, he said “it’s a good laugh getting cars together, so fk it”Leaving the venue was a little time consuming, but I can see why. A very well organised event and every one well behaved.

Superb event though. The only question I have is there a requirement to be a steaming cock socket before buying a Lamborghini or Ferrari these days?
There was quite a few McLaren’s there, more Porsche’s than you could count, I never heard any of them arriving or leaving, the Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s though…
Which reminds me. Didn't really like the idea of the majority of supercars in paddock one.
I'm so used to caffeine and machine type car meets were every car is equil. Paddock 2 & 3 had the right idea, all cars mixed together.
I got the same impression when I went to the motorist venue to. They seemed to want the supercars on the front. Not a fan of that personally.

I enjoyed it, but did get rather Porsche’d out if that makes sense, especially with most of them in the same area. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many GT3’s GT4’s and RS products in one place!Superb event though. Certain super cars seem to attract a certain owner demographic these days which probably isn’t helped by the crowds at the entrance waiting for some silliness. My friend in the Caterham struggled turning right out if the exit because of said crowd.

I agree, I like the eclectic mix of cars but I’m a heathen who was more excited about the liquid yellow Clio V6 than the super cars it was parked with. I'm so used to caffeine and machine type car meets were every car is equil. Paddock 2 & 3 had the right idea, all cars mixed together.

Totally get what you mean. Certain super cars seem to attract a certain owner demographic these days which probably isn’t helped by the crowds at the entrance waiting for some silliness. My friend in the Caterham struggled turning right out if the exit because of said crowd.
Was your friends Caterham the green and yellow R400? Lovely spec that was
