Hi, I went to the Carrington Arms yesterday and asked when the 2TOTM meetings start again. Apparently, they never stop, but there aren't anywhere near as many go until the clocks change. There is one 14/3 (but the cricket pitch wont be used as there wont be enough demand).
If I get chance, I'll go and post on what I find. This year, there may be an extra bar available on the cricket pitch once it gets busy.
Cheers
Well done! Let us know.
Steve
D'oh, just got the TVR on the road, had a quick trip to Ashby Folville last night, but half way there the gauge showed she was discharging, so I couldn't have stopped in case I couldn't get her started again. Anyway at 19.30 there were only about 4-5 4x4s and 4-5 other cars which I assume were the usual locals (some were playing skittles).
Perhaps April will be better when the nights are lighter...

Well, it's that time of the month again. 2TOTM at Ashby Folville, I've heard of several people intending to go now the lighter nights are coming. I aim to go along between 18.300 and 19.00 to see what's there. TVR still not running due to electrical problems, but they may be sorted tomorrow, Cheers, Dave
IMO, If you want to see this event at its best, get to the early meets. By late summer the place is heaving and I suppose the inevitibility of that is you get some bumholes attending who are there to show off rather than take part.
I won't be attending again after being threatened last year. Not that I mind being threatened, just that if I see that particular individual again when I don't have a kid in tow I am likely to do something I will possibly regret later.

Baretti, sorry you had problems. Seem to remember the thread last year (Sept?). Perhaps be OK if you went with a few others. Not that you probably need the support, it'd just make it a little 'lighter' and more fun. I hope to be meeting some others to drive to the May event, join us if you wish. I suspect either Longers or I will post details closer to the day. Cheers, Dave
