If (and I'm told there is) there's a car meet, there's usually a few hundred people there. I hope there will be parking on the cricket field. We'll be arriving 6.30 ish. We'll be in a blue Chimaera B6 TVR. We'll hang about by the car for a while, before mosying off to drool at the hardware.

If I've been misinformed, & there ain't no meet, I'll be in the Carrington Arms!

Chaps,

I was there and I have to say the weather was really nice, not a bad turn out of cars either in fairness.

The only thing that is starting to bug me alittle bit about Ashby is people letting their kids touch, paw, and generally do what they want to other peoples cars. It never used to be like that.............

Cheers

Of course you are correct, it just anoys me that's all. You spend a long time making sure that you P & J is well looked after and then to take it somewhere like that and get paw prints all over it is annoying, still the line up of TVRs looked great!

I thnk I even managed to persuade the wife that a Cerbera was a good idea, she agrees becasue of the four seats and the large boot, women eh!

Cheers

That cost £3 !! if there hadn't been people behind me I would have...no I was starving actually..

nice to see everyones car, I put my Cerbera handbrake on so hard I struggled to get it off and was trying desperatly to not look like it had stuck on..

Managed to childishly overtake barreti on the way home anyway ...

I do like it there ..its very English and nice to see all sorts of cars there.

Is this a regular event ? If so, I'd love to come along to the next one. It would be a nice drive out on a summers evening from Northampton.

2nd Tuesday of each month...dependent on weather

about an hour from you.

A superb road straight up from Northampton, across to Market Harborough, across the A47 then on towards Melton - half way there Twyford, turn right and two miles up the road.

Thanks for that. Just found it on multimap - that does look like a pleasant route.

Will try to come along next time, which I guess is 14th June, ahh, dammit, can't make it. Maybe July then !

Bit cold, mind ewe. Anybody look over that superb Alvis in the rear car park? Lorraines gone and fallen in love with it.

Just hope she remembers how to shut the car doors in future. Courtesy light, door open, four days, flat battery.

Don't let it happen to you!
