I went for the first time tonight (I didnt take the Aston as I've spent 2 days preparing it for le mans, and I didnt fancy driving it on wet grass. Although I will be there next month in it, regardless of weather).
Went with a friend from work, and it was great to see a few of you again (especially as my girlfeiend has just split up with me, so it make a nice change).
Also good to talk about future events- Battle of Briatin memorial flight meeting?
Bruntingthorpe fast jets taxiing runs?
Anyhow, I had a great time. Did you see the Bugatti T35A? (dont sak about lights. Or mudguards. Or horn. Or...)
And then the two frazer Nash's (one day I will own one..)
And the GN
And (by far the best of all) The Panhard et Levassor- one of 2 cars built for the 1907 grand Prix. Absoltuly priceless.... Fantastic machine. 4 cylinders (individual cylinders, sharing the same block), with (I guess) 2 litres pre cylinder. No speedo, but the owner said it does 70mph per 1,000rpm. Looked, and sounded like an aero-engined special. Incredable machine. Who said manufacturing crisps doesnt pay...

Hi all, nice to catch up with those of you we saw, yet again we missed you Mark although did have a good look at your car (and Plasticpig's and Bigrah's).
Was looking at the Buggati with Williamp, very nice car. Didn't see the Panhard though. The yellow stretched taxi is one of a fleet of cars owned by someone who also deals in number plates. Very unusual although he said there were about 400 made.
