Guess it's because I was 16 when that car was made, I remember reading a road test at the time that said, 1st gear xmph, 2nd gear xmph, 3rd gear.. immaterial, as no one else will be anywhere near you.

Thanks. Its a bit of a beast, but mine's an Auto so not quite as quick as a manual. Still, its nice to know that in the late 60s/ early 70s it was one of the fastest cars in the world.

The washers are fixed and the handbrake adjusted, so now it should pass the MOT and be ready for next Sunday. Weather permitting, should be a good day out. I would love to be behind it and hear it as it accelerates.

Well she is back on the road and looking better than ever thanks to AV at Exactly TVR
By the sound of things I'll have to tinker with the timing just so's she's running sweet...I'd hate to think you'd leave me behind!!!!

Beautiful Superspark. And very clean!

So we have red, Orange, yellow and blue cars. Anyone else still think you'll have trouble finding us in a service station carpark??

Edited to add: the list for the actual meet shows 174 cars going. Now I know not all of them will attend, but most of them will. And that will make parking a bit...interesting. Can I ask everyone to be prompt, so we can leave prompt at 08h30 and have £4.50 for the parking barrier (its one where you pay £4.50, and then drive out. Its not time-dependant. And remember, this is the south east wheree everything costs money). So to be a pedantic bossy-boots, but I am.

Me and Tony might get there early and have a breakfast before we go. As long as they're open that is.

It's a Moto services with a Little Chef and a Burger King.

I reckon the Little Chef at 7.30am should do us fine, ready for the others to arrive and an 8.30am departure.

did ben get in touch with you about giving him a lift from lenton? he was talking to me before so i said i would take him if you weren't able to pick him up.

don't think i will be coming for brekfast, my mate and i will just meet up at around 8.15, get some grub before we set off. im never usually a brekfast person anyway.

got my camera mount and it seems as though i will be able to film out of the windscreen which is good.

The Aston has passed the MOT, so there should be no problem with me being there. I am looking to leave home at 7h30, so I will arrive at about 8h00.
