Cheers

Might be up for this, I'll see if I can raise a few other usual suspects.

If your route takes you via Broadway (Fish Hill smile ) I could join you there.

I'm happy to do this too, as long as someone can book different weather to what we had conveying to Gaydon last year!

Just noticed your car history, VTEC fan yes? :P

To be completely honest, i'm crap at organising routes and all that stuff, I could organise a meeting point but I only posted to see if anyone else had planned on organising a convoy. I mean I guess I could just say meet at Tesco petrol station in Redditch at 7:00 ready for a 7:30 departure but I live in Cannock and don't know the roads around Redditch too well so the route would have to be upto someone else i'm afraid - besides, I only drive an EP3 Type R, not exactly a convoy leading car! Thoughts?

Some of us have done a route before to Silverstone which was cross country to Stratford, Banbury and then Silverstone.

Best not to go into too much detail on the precise route just in case.

Exactly, I wouldn't post anything on a public forum if I were you, it'd only need a few guys to have the route programmed into their satnav's to be honest because i'd imagine most of us would stay together an the A roads (haven't had any major issues in the past anyway!). I just don't know which roads are good, and more importantly, which ones aren't!

Somehow I completely missed all this. I've added myself to the (reserve) list, but to be honest, I'm not sure if I'll be going as Ultima engine delivery is imminent and may take priority.

As Token says, we've got pre-planned routes for Redditch to Silverstone which take in some interesting roads (sorry not via Broadway or Warwick tho'). I'm happy to help plan a convoy, but I may not actually be there on the day, time will tell.

Excellent! You've planned the convoy routes before haven't you Mark? Would be a great help if you could do a route and PM me or something, because like I say - I don't know the local area too well
