The light nights are here!! I would think the season for mid week tyre kicking is here. Does anybody know when the Ashby Folville or Griffins Head Papplewick events restart?

Alternatively, is anybody up for a mid week East Midlands tyre kick?

(Where's that Jamer when he could be useful? )

Sounds like a good idea...I'm up for a tyre kick 2SB and BG.

Aha! I was starting to feel lonely!!

If Ashby F starts in three weeks, that would seem to be a good idea. Otherwise a pub somewhere outside Nottingham would seem a plan?

Okeydokey,

Mr James Agger, him of utmost repute & knowledge of all things automotive, reckons there is a meet at Ashby Folville on Tuesday May 10.

I am planning to blast down there & have a look see. If there is a meet, all well & good. Failing that I shall have a fizzy water & lime in the Carrington Arms.

I will keep this thread updated of any developments.

Hopefully meet a few of you?

2SB

By strange coincidence Anna was asking me, just last night, when the Griffin's head jobby started again...

Anybody going to be a regular there? 'cos I think we will, just the make sure The Boys get the necessary level of indoctrination (well we did take them last year wwhen they were only 6 months old)

Cheers, Phil

If I can work out when it is, I'll probably pop along.

I think we managed most of them last year.

What day did they take place last year?

Ok.

I've had it confirmed that the VSCC is meeting on Tuesday 10th at Ashby Folville. That's now two fairly reliable sources!

So, I'm going to buzz over to Ashby Folville, aiming to arrive about 6.30.

If anybody else is going to be there, it'd be nice to say hello.

Well it's a bit late but if your really quick you can still catch the Griffins Head meet
It would appear it is the 1st Wednesday of the Month all summer
We were just pulling out of the gym carpark when the guy who appears to run the show drove past in his Cobra followed by an E-Type, at the sight of that the penny dropped, but we weren't exactly prepared for an evening in a pub carpark having just had a session in the gym so we didn't stop long, but the field was filling up nicely when we left

Thanks Steve. It'll be JUne for me now I suspect!!
