Giles

It will be a pleasure to buy you a beer. Seems there are quite a few liked minded people attending this event.

I am trying to get some track time via TVRCC, last year, the so say sedate 1/2 hour laps were in fact fairly rapid

Thought I might invest in a Sat Nav for the trip, then can pass onto Will afterwards,so if I get left behind I can still find you lot. I seem to remember Martin and Paul, you had them for LMC, which one would you suggest.

Thank you.

Still no blooming car, seems having problem finding the shorting issue, desperate for a drive, heading up into Wales in two weeks for weekend, fingers crossed.

I'll just follow Paul biggrin

I have been looking into a Tom Tom Europe, £89 on Martin's recommendation, so if we do get separated I can play catch up. It is difficult to follow groups through towns that I don't know or not been too before. Easier on motorways.

Hope to have car back in next few days, major issues headache

Weekend can't come too soon

Hi Graham, go for the TomTom live. There are some deals out there, gives you a bit of info on speed cameras, mobile as well. But the traffic delay and rerouting is fantastic, not much more than standard European. Brought mine from Halfords for about £140 with 12 months sign-up included.

This year get some stickers on your cars you lot, thinking of starting a fine system for anyone not making an effort. Please note the fine will involve nakedness!!!! biggrin I know some of you might like this, but trust me, you won't hehe
Does this include cops on motorbikes. Will look on tinternet tonight, daily driver has one installed so it is only for jaunts across Europe, but thinking about it, we are doing LMC 2014, so what the hell.

Did you not know I am a naturist. Having just had full detailing " stickers" yikes

Boys

I will be travelling up from Wiltshire Wednesday early evening at staying at my late Mum's property in Kenley which is near my mate Neil's house in Purley.

idea

I could put a couple of you up in Kenley CR8 5JR , only a small two bed flat but surely better than a Travelodge and safe parking too. Couple of beers Wednesday night then we are about 67 miles or 1 1/2 hour trip down on M20 to Eurotunnel Thursday morning.

Just an idea,

Three weeks to go party

Oh dear frown

Just read TVR forum with info below, only 20 kms longer but sounds a good route in light of roadworks.

There are some extensive road works in Belgium which will delay you getting to/from Spa.

The information I have is that the worst affected sections are the E40 from Liege to the junction with the E42 and on the E42 between Verviers and Spa.

Full details are here (zoom in on right hand side of map for Liege, Verviers & Spa)... http://trafiroutes.wallonie.be/trafiroutes/maptemp...

If travelling from one of the channel ports my advice would be to go via Lille, Charleroi & Namur. This has the ended benefit of missing the Brussels ring road.

Is anyone taking a gazebo, for those that went to LMC 2012 it made a big difference to have a base camp in front of all our tents. However I borrowed that one so might buy one, we can always use it for LMC 2014/Gray's 50th biggrin

Small BBQ ready and intending to buy small stove so we can fry up some bacon in the morning, will bring table and have borrowed my mates gazebo again, that's the benefit of owning a sports tourer lots of space, not.

Saying that haven't tried to fit it in yet. Neil might have a frying pan on his lap. Base camp will be sorted.

Be warned narrow lanes on M25 by junction 6, speed limit 50, might be little busy.

Martin great effort, looking forward to seeing everyone. Rumour has it, it is as good if not better than LMC.

As I have co-pilot will be in car filming with no bloody wind noise.
