Hello!
A couple of foreigners here, well Northampton actually. We go down to the south-west every 6 weeks or so, and stay in Honiton. We're planning to be down next weekend (24/25th) and as it sounds like there's lots going on we may take the Cerbie instead of the dull old Vectra.
So, can we join in the fun ?
Please, please, please

The more the merrier! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

O.K. here goes....

8.45 Meet at Endsleigh Garden Centre
9.30 Meet no2 at Exeter services just off the M5
10.00 Meet at Tipton Garage where we have 2 hours on the rollers
12.00 Over to The Golden Lion in Tipton where we are booked in for some refreshment at 12.30, spoke to them this evening - plenty of parking!
13.30ish over to Peninsula for rummage around.

Then maybe?...

Not going to give too much away until the fat lady lauches into aria, but let's just say she has cleared her throat and has been sucking a fisherman's friend for about a week now

How many have you got for this then Corin? Just thinking about the two hours split between us and how long we'll get on the rollers each.

Is Steve, or someone else offering his time at the garage and is it purely a 'run' each, or are there possiblities for minor tweaks/tinkering?

....reckon I'll be up for this. Will join the gang at Exeter services.

As people are giving there week-ends up so we can have some fun, it would be a good idea to give Peninsula a ring to let them know who is coming, also to tell them who is going to Exeter airport as they to are working this week-end for our benefit.

For more details on The Peninsula Fly and Drive take a look at The Devon and Cornwall web-site

www.tvrcc-devon-cornwall.co.uk

Fingers crossed for the weather.I cant control that yet
but working on it!!

O.K. we have a problem! Tipton Garage has had a to-do with one of their neighbors and have had to agree to not using the rolling-road after 5pm or at weekends!!! So it would seem we are stuffed for this Saturday!

Any suggestions for an alternative?

What do you want to do?

Peninsula have phoned me for numbers attending, they have the Sagaris there etc.

Buer.

And now Pistonheads mail is stressed out.

Any chance you could give me a quick call?

I'd like to discuss a couple of things that Peninsula did to your Chim before my car goes in tomorrow.

Many thanks,

simon

Thanks Corin

Did you have a word with Peninsula re numbers Corin, or should we ring them individually?

I'll have to have a chat with my 'contacts' in Tipton and find out who has complained. I'll then make a point of driving past their house many times, late at night, in second gear!

Anyway, whatever really for Saturday. A run out somewhere would be good, followed by a pub for lunch. Weather is supposed to be good.
