It's not too clear, is it? I blame Claire (obviously)

(And we've got a sticky Thanks Neil.)

I thought it'd save you some vital clickaging

Anyone know when our resident workshy traveller will be returning. I think we need a curry in his honour.

Agreed - it can't be that far away now. I will have a chat with my other half as she has a better handle on these things!

Her on crutches reckons that they are due back in early May as they have other events booked later that month...

Site's been updated over the weekend - looks like they're almost finished, barring more mechanical gremlins.

Hello!! Not much sneaks past you lot. We're back in 3 weeks or so, and we've spent a tense weekend wondering if we'd finish the trip in the car. Fortunately the overheating problem turned out to be an electrical fault, unfortunately we didn't work this out until after replacing the thermostat, water pump, rad, viscous coupling and temp guage sender. Hey fking ho. At least we can feel confident giving the car apasting in the dunes.

(And Claire has fixed the order of countries for you too.)

We were at a friends house and then she stepped on to a rug from the bottom of a flight of stairs. Rug was not attached to stripped wood floor underneath.... Rug went one way and she went the other, and ended up sitting on her ankle.

Late night dash (that has got its own thread....) to BRI for X-rays etc and now she is in a cast for another 6 or so weeks for the broken ankle. Fun and games at the moment for a suspected DVT in the calf muscle concerned - after most of the day spent back at BRI yesterday to get that diagnosis, another trip today and then a scan and ortho clinic tomorrow. Oh and daily injections to the stomach to thin the blood.

I am just so enjoying being Mr Domestic!

Have a safe trip home and have some good ideas about some venues for curry!

YAY We're in Cape Town!! We're shipping the car this week and should be home at the weekend. And I'm back at work on Monday week

So, curry sounds good. Probably the week starting 15th May is best...

It's like we're anticipating the return of a prophet, to save us from our idea-less wanderings in the wilderness.

Well done chaps - very jealous of your adventure.

Shall we organise a big surprise curry in his honour, as Brother Daz has suggested?
