We're hopeless aren't we?

Looking back over the posts it does seem that it was the 29th that was mentioned most often.

In my opinion Clifton Village suffered a serious cultural blow with the loss of Luigi's "Bake 'n' Take"

Ah - the good old "Fetch & Retch". Sadly missed

As it appears to be Tuesday 29th, I'll amend the title.

I bet you're impressed by our slick Bristol-style organisation...

You should have come along to our Christmas Ice Karting - it was a real blast!

Mechsympathy considers himself "more of an ideas man"...

I think the problem running up to Christmas is that we all have pretty busy schedules (and/or sceptical wives) and unless the date is set well in advance there's little hope of choosing one acceptable to most people (and virtually no chance of selecting one suitable for Glen )

But I've never claimed any of them were good

It happens.. Not easy co-ordinating diaries and stuff..

Ice karting.. Sounds like fun.. Was this the same as the death karting I heard rumours about a while ago? (though can't remember where from).

Anyway, got the details, will arrange an hotel in the city centre again next week.

Lots of smaller hotels within (easy) walking distance of Clifton Village. Parking's a bit iffy, mind you.

I've noticed that.. About the only thing thats stopped me moving to Bristol is that I've 2 cars and its bad enough trying to find secure parking for one..

Might investigate secure lock ups..

From the car security POV Clifton Village is probably only marginally better than Hartcliffe/Southmead/Lockleaze/Lawrence Weston, if not actually worse.

Clifton Village is nice to visit, pox to live in (unless you're a student, then it's quite good)

Indeed. Gangs of tea leafs will actually travel in to Clifton in minibuses, knowing that there'll be a lot of expensive motors parked on the street.
