July Blat and Curry - Thursday 28th July

Well, given that Tetbury appears that it may be something of a damp squid, my offer of a guided tour into Wells to Cafe Romna still stands. The roads are good pretty well all the way, and I will happily say that Romna make some of the best curry I have ever eaten.

The down side is that the weather forecast is very poor, hence I'm very unlikely to be in the "bike-car" and neither of my Golfs are yet in action, so it would be a pretty laid back blat (for me at least ) given that I'd be in my Poolo. It's not exactly blatting weather so the trip may be best saved for fairer weather.

I've got a funny feeling that Reginald and Barry may be enjoying our patronage this Thursday!

Since Tetbury does look/sound a bit uncertain we could always reconvene at that place I took you all to at Cleeve, which I thought was quite good, and benefitted from Daz's route to get there. I say "we" but it's increasingly likely that I mean "you".

I'm in, just sat about in Yeovil waiting for a new backbox to go on the new toy. It may well not be blatting weather, but I'm looking forward to showing it off.

Not flippin' washing it if it's like this though!

That sounds like a plan to me. Shall we rock up at the usual park and ride for half 7ish and make a precipitation-based decision then? Cleeve if decent weather, Reg and Barry if it's quattro weather.

And then decide whether to have a bit of a drive to this curry house

Or if the weather's lousy, just go for a curry at Reg & Barry's, here

Today is payday, but i've not been paid. Don't be surprised if i don't turn up tonight, £3.10 in loose change won't get me very far down the M5.

Weather's looking up, so I guess a run to Cleeve is on the cards. Guess we'll get to the curry house at, what 9-ish? If not there then probably in the pub just down the road.
