sounds good. one question tho:

where is the pub and curry house that people are talking about?

(i just think it might be a useful thing to know!)

Reg and Barry's is the Raj Bari on Hotwells Road (sort of opposite the esso station, but not quite), and the Pumphouse is just on the left before the swing bridge as ou go out of town on the very same road.

so is the blat not on now? ( or is it now a balti?) Raj Bari sounds great but are we going for a drive first or just meet there?

Typically, with Raj Bari meets, we meet in the Pumphouse and drink, then fart around on Neil's bicycle-cum-pogostick, then go to the Raj Bari.

The driving bit is limited to blasting off down the Hotwells Road.

Oh, as an aside.. any chance i could borrow your S4 repair manual on thursday Adrian? I've got some stuff that needs doing and i fancy reading up on how to break it properly, rather than the frankly amateurish breaking of stuff i've been doing so far.

There's no reason not to go for a blat if you fancy it, but I don't think I'll bother Or we could even get to the curry house a tad earlier than normal

OK, have I lost the plot. Turned up at the Pump House at 7.45pm, not a tiv or porker in sight.

Grey M5 and the LandRover were in the car park.

Saw your car turn up as we were going into the pub having had the guided tour of Mechsympathy's Africa bound Land Rover.

Ah! We thought there had been a change of venue or something, just imagined lots of Tivs knocking about.

Well there's always next month!

Sorry about that. I specifically asked someone who had bought that lovely black GTA (one of my "dream cars" when I was younger) and whoever it was said they weren't with us...

Please bring it again next time! If you're interested I've got some nice photos of a GTA that I took down at Aigues Mortes in Provence, in May 1986.

All the thread talk about the Landy, why I didn't twig.

I was also expecting OB1 to turn up in his new aquisition. Also sidetracked by numerous female joggers it tip top shape.

Sorry - had just got back to the UK and it completely slipped my mind until too late (i.e. when I read Daz' email the next day )

It was rather a quiet affair with no blatting and a chilled atmosphere (as always).

Mind you Oli (KingRSeven) and I went for a Stumble© up Park St afterwards admiring the view...

We also got a trip in the Pyschomachine that is Pyschoberts white Audi 80. Oh, we looked quite the players when we arrived outside MBargo - if you squinted enough you may have imagined it was a white limo. If you were blind that is.

Oh, and Simon, have you thought about the fact that whoever, ahem, put the dent in your bonnet might now be walking around with a very sticky bum???
