...if not actually worse.
Indeed. Gangs of tea leafs will actually travel in to Clifton in minibuses, knowing that there'll be a lot of expensive motors parked on the street.
Which explains one of my worst days last year. Made redundant one day, I drove through Bristol, got ttted by a bus, and then when parked just up the road from our flat in Clifton Village, some teaf leaf screwdrivered my Golf, nicked the CD Player (which in my right so lapse of concentration forgot to remove the fascia of), and annoyingly, all of the cash from the ashtray...
Needless to say, nothing ever got left in the car again, and we moved shortly afterwards...

Yes, i was quite surprised to see everyone turning up at the curry in Clifton in their P&Js.
Had the entire street of cars relieved of their alloys one night when we lived in clifton, all except my crappy renault. That was one of the final things on the list for reasons to move somewhere else (and also to by a car someone might contemplate nicking).

Yeah but no but yeah but no...etc. That was Alma Road and at that time of night it's OK around there. TBH Clifton village is OK usually except during the early hours. You know the safest place to park a nice car in Bristol? St Pauls - esp if equipped with a Jamican flag.
Had a kind invitation from Pete to attend, but unfortunatly as I had not seen the missus for five days (oops) I had to take her out instead.
I went to Bells Diner by the way, which if anyone wants to impress a lady with your cusine nous, is the place to go. They serve the type of food similar to Heston Blumenthal's creations. Cauliflour soup with bitter chocolate sauce anyone?
The lamb was to do die for though (especially teamed with the sweetbread)...
Anyway, back to real food, I'll be along to the next Curry'n'beer if thats ok?
