A good turn out indeed. But could those with loud exhausts please resist gunning the engine to avoid us all getting banned by the council responding to residents complaints? The gratuitous revving of a parked Ferrari at one point was heard right across the square and particularly pointless IMHO

+1. We are there at the good grace of the council and we need to curtail our enthusiasm otherwise we'll get caught up in the red tape of permits for organised events etc and the ADC will end. It also doesn't paint a great picture of car enthusiasts to the good people of Bristol.Cheers

As an outlet I am putting together a run for the May meeting. I'll be 'selling' the route in exchange for a donation in the Macmillan bucket on the morning. All pretty informal but aiming to leave the square at 11:00am we'll be heading off to the cotswolds for a coffee stop about 40 miles away. Hopefully the sun will shine and it'll be a good day.
In the spirit of the ADC all comers and all cars are welcome.
As an aside to the pros and cons of the gathering, I would be really grateful if someone could create one of those table thingys that let people register their interest in the May run. I would but I'm a slight simpelton when it comes to these things and it would be great to have an idea of numbers from PH.

Thank you so much for everyone who attended and donated so generously. I'll let you know the grand total in due course. We've also had a great write-up from the chaps at Dep-O magazine:

I counted up the cash yesterday and we've raised £178.09 for Macmillan Bristol. Thanks again to everyone who came along!
A cool little video here put together by the chaps at Dep-O Magazine.
