Safe to say that tonight was the last Pub Club I'll be bringing a car to. It never ceases to amaze me how little respect people have for other people's possessions. It was when I saw a lit cigarette dragged across the rear wing of my car I decided it was a good time to leave. I wouldn't dream of even touching anyone else's car, I know exactly how special cars can be to people, and how expensive it can be to correct 'minor' issues.

Sad to hear that, first Pub Club I went to, wondered why you left early.
Amazing how jealous people get and how they have such little respect for other peoples cars.

Do you have any idea who it was? Or, what car they were there in?

I think I can speak for everybody else if I say, we don't accept that sort of behavior in our community!

I know exactly who it was but am not prepared to grass anyone up. I'm hopeful the worst of it will machine polish out but regret having to thin the clear coat. The car is a triple layered colour and anything to do with paintwork is an massive nightmare. It spent nearly 11 weeks off the road last year having work done, a tiny bubble of corrosion that was barely visible resulted in the rear wing, door, sill section and front wing being resprayed. It actually took the paint shop 2 attempts to successfully blend the colour. Thankfully it was all carried out under warranty or would have cost an absolute fortune in labour alone so you can understand why I'm a little precious about the car.

I usually love coming to these events, I'm mad about all cars, it's great to have a chance to talk to people about theirs and and answer any questions anyone might have about mine, I'll happily let anyone sit in it, start it, rev it, whatever they want. Tonight though I just didn't need the stress of it, some people are either completely ignorant to what people's cars mean to them or they simply don't give a sh!t.

Very bad behaviour regardless of marque, I've been attending Pub Clubs for a long time and have to say the people I have met and know through these gatherings would never dream of such bad behaviour.
Other than this needless/mindless vandalism it was a good evening, loved the Flaming Hot Rods.
