The Wheel Alignment Centre Southampton
Discussion
Looks like i'll be making a trip to southampton then. My recently purchased S2K went in to the local Protyre, I was told all alignment bolts were seized and the tech had welded a track rod nut to the track rod by overcooking it. Jacked the car up at home and easily managed to free up all bolts...included the welded trackrod nut which looked like it had been mauled by a set of grips

Don’t rate ProTyre much these days, particularly Fareham. “Your rear tyres are damaged” whilst jamming a flat bed screw driver into them. Told the manager what I thought of the tech.Nick on the other hand, brilliant.

The Fareham branch managed to scratch one of my wheels. Pointed it out and they denied all responsibility so showed them the photos I took of each wheel outside their workshop 2 hours before. (Recommended to take photos by a PH member as the black shows up any blemishes) Nick on the other hand, brilliant.
They said the manager would call and nothing, chased them up and they tried offering discounted fitting after I’ve just had tyres fitted! Eventually gave up trying to get it sorted since then used PETs and F1 auto fratton and both have been superb and taken care of the car.

Does anyone know if he is working currently as want to get my Beemer tweeked again by him after some bushes were changed ? Tried to call but no answer.
Yes Nick is working - he did my car a couple of weeks ago.Funnily enough giving a Google to find his number, I found this thread. I've booked in with Nick again this Saturday.
I've had many alignments done with Nick, and he's a proper master. Every time I take a car to him it comes back feeling planted, stable and speed and better on the bends. I do 50 miles each way to his, as I've never been satisfied when I've had alignments done at other places.
