Although I live in Horsham, one of my main clients is in London and I was overtaken near Battersea dog's home on Friday evening by an E36 BMW with a stick on roof light and grill lights going! Is this the oldest police car in the UK? Couldn't believe it when I saw it and did a double take!!

Overtaken by a dark blue/black 330d Touring this evening just passed Swanwick marina (heading towards the Tescos, by the M27 junction).
It had the hidden lights behind the grille and registration YF06 BYG.

Had the usual LED lights etc. all over it.

Had pulled an E46 saloon @ J11 on the M23.

seen many 530s (and 535s i think) with just single pipe - noticed as i thought it was strange when 3 series same engined BMWs are twin... guess the 5 series examples do look bigger - 2"?

I'd say nearer 3" my friend has an E39 530i sport and that must be some where around that diameter, where as bmw's of old always twin tail pipes once you got above 520i 'in the good old days....'

Christchurch seems to have an awful lot of unmarked BiB! Blue 5series tourer on wednesday. White very basic looking e92 5series tourer outside MDC in christchurch today! Camera on the roof and a couple of extra aerials
