I’m sorry for those who got split up from the group at the start. We headed onto the A3 and came off at the first junction to the A272, I would like to think that we can all see the car ahead, unfortunately leading that many cars, I struggle to see if everyone is still together, we wait at junctions to make sure we are all together. I know how dissapointing it must be to lose the group, maybe we need to restrict numbers, but not what I want to have to do.
Thanks everyone for today and apologies to those that we lost.

Yeah, it was a bit disappointing I agree. Could’ve done with some more info of route. I left the 1st car park slightly after the first group due to some traffic and instantly lost everyone! The cars behind followed me and we ended up doing our own thing until we found the bulk of the group again. So thanks to the guy in the R32 (Henry?) for taking us on that fun route!

Unfortunately I don't have a fixed route each time, I alter it as we progress due to traffic and timings.

Thanks Aly for organising, much appreciated! Shame about some getting lost, inevitable with such a large group.
Would a 5/10 min meeting point at the far end of the run work, tbc each time?

To be honest this is the first time a large half of the group have ever for seperated probably just unlucky and unlikely to happen again.

Roll on September as always thanks for organising Aly it’s always a great laugh.

Yes I think a half way meeting point would be good for a re group if the same happened again which is likely with 20 cars. I still had fun meeting like minded people and driving some new roads and will definitely come again.

Thanks for organising Aly and great to meet you all.

Yeah maybe need to think about a mid way stop if we have high numbers. It usually seems to be the start where we have problems. To be fair we usually manage to keep together, but always room for improvement.

Perhaps placing cars who know the route at various points in the convoy. As it turned out none of the 3 cars at the back knew the route so with exits, roundabouts and 'nornal' traffic it was easy to get detached from the main group.

Despite ending up in a smaller group of 5 cars, having lost the initial group from the get go due to Sunday morning dordlers, it was still fun and good to meet you all. And breakfast was lovely!

I definitely think a half way meeting point would be a good idea in case this was to happen again.

Cheers for organising Aly!

As always, great run out, such a shame we lost the rest of you guys, as mentioned, we did try waiting for the rear too catch up, but alas, we got separated very early , various ways of finding the lost members, mobile phone numbers is one, and perhaps a couple of wey points prior too set off.
Aly, called into see Roger at The Hinton Arms, yes your right, great venue, so we have the 4th September booked in for our last weekday New Pub Club meet of the season, from 7pm.
Hopefully everyone who has been out on recent and previous Breakfast runs could make this, we will certainly be made very welcome by Roger, the landlord, and his staff, compared too grumpy at The Milbury's. Also invite your like minded friends.

Sorry folks. Really sorry that I didn't turn up. A very late wedding party the previous night was too much for someone my age.

Look forward to the next time.

Good run, shame we did get split up.

I suggest a WhatsApp group and sharing live location for the period of the run.

Any new breakfast meet joiners, get them to join the group. That way they can both track those on the run and contact them if needed to arrange a stopover to allow a catch up.

Hi chaps, it was my first meet yesterday (I was in the silver C63). Thanks to Aly for organising and taking us on some great routes driving Thankfully I didn't get separated from the pack - had a great run with the grey C63 in front and the red Cooper S keeping up behind. Sorry that the others got left behind at the start - it would've been quite a sight with all of us in convoy!

Sound like a good idea to me.

That's a great idea.

With that and a half way stop it would be much easier to stay together.
