Does some of the entrance ticket price go to charity?
Don't worry, I'm not gonna try and mug everyone as soon as they're in!!! However, I've got a pair of tickets to a Truck Racing Festival at Thruxton next summer that I'm gonna raffle off if I can find some raffle tickets that is...
I'm probably gonna come as it's just down the road, Prices seem quite steep, I don't mind if the majority is going to the cause, but don't really want to pay that amount if it's going to the museum, as I already have free entrance for a year, I'd rather use that to get in and give a bigger donation to the charity.

Yeah, I'm more than happy for you to do that mate. I'm a season ticket holder too.Edited by Dolittle on Tuesday 18th November 18:08
Some of the entrance fee is going to the charity, so it's all good!!!

Keep the tickets in ya pocket and go and watch it..... can't beat a good bit of truck racing at Thruxton. Normally put on a good truck show too. Hi everyone
Well, it's nearly the weekend and I'm getting excited about Sunday.
I popped into Beaulieu this afternoon to check they had got lots of bacon ready for the early birds to get their breakfast.
The weather is supposed to start to clear from Sunday into Monday, so we may get lucky. I keep checking the Met Office weather updates (It's becoming an obsession) Haha.
Please, please, please don't let it put you off coming, it will be a good day no matter what the weather and remember it's all for a good cause.
My old Mustang leaks like a sieve and the boot fills with water, but it can all be cleaned up and will give me a good excuse for an 'EXTREME POST EVENT DETAIL' !!!
I'm really looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. No matter what car you bring, just follow the signs and roll on in to the event arena, park up and have a wander.

- Don't park in the public car park or go through the ticket office, as reduced admission is only through to the event arena

Morning all,
Yeah, it's a little bit wet... I'm sure it'll clear
See you all soon
Hi James, let me be the first to apologise for the NO show at this event you worked so hard to organise, certainly is not the weather for walking around admiring cars, and as I have visited the museum twice this year, that would not have been of interest.Yeah, it's a little bit wet... I'm sure it'll clear
See you all soon
However, as this event was designed to raise money for your charity, AIR AMBULANCE, I would like to donate £10 if you could let me have your bank details or where to send it? I am sure like minded people who put their names down for this event, or who considered going would also like to make a contribution. Appologies once again, look forward to better weather for any other events you plan next year.
Kind regards
David

Weather today has been dreadful and the motor museum does not get the juices flowing.
Sorry for the no show but happy to donate
Well done Jamie,
despite the weather and the early start made a good day of this. Thanks to the staff for the guided tour, although we've been here numerous times the tour guide gives a far greater understanding of the history of the exhibits. Some great stories behind the cars from a very informative guide. We even took the bus to the House to have a nosey round there............ok, to find the radiators and get warm
Good company with the HSV crowd, thank you for letting us infiltrate your ranks for breakfast and convoy over.
Hope you get your car sorted soon J, bitter disappointment for you i'm sure,
see y'all soon,
Darren & Lez
