Good morning, my South Coast brethren.
Had a strange one this morning. Driving to work, I came up behind a silver Pug 206 driving pretty slowly. As I approached, he put his left indicator on, moved over and slowed down as if to stop. I overtook and he promptly stuck his main beam on and proceeded to follow me for two miles, a foot off my bumper.
Normally this wouldn't cause me a huge amount of concern but he followed me all the way to work and, as I turned into the entry gate to show my pass, he stopped in the middle of the main road and stared at me through his passenger window.
There are some weird people out there.

The plot thickens.
I've just had a call from our security office to say that some chap has called in and reported me for speeding along the same coast road on which I overtook him.
I don't understand...he indicated left and slowed down, I overtook him, and now he's reported me for speeding? He obviously thinks I am in the military (I work on a customer site) and he's trying to get me in trouble...?
I wonder if he'll report it to the police as well.

Take it from me, if he does report it to the police there is nothing they can or would do about it. They will just empathyse with him, verbally pat him on the back and thank him for his time for calling in, then put it in the big grey filing cabinet called the bin with all the others. Its your word against his at the end of the day.
Next time you see him just remember to blow him a kiss. xx
Thanks Jim. I don't really understand the logic behind people's actions sometimes, but there you go.Next time you see him just remember to blow him a kiss. xx

What car was you in the VX220?
If so probably abit of jealousy in it.
Yeah I was. Interestingly, I saw him again this morning as I was pulling out of my road, he drove straight past me. This time he had his wife in the car and started jabbering away to her and pointing at the car.If so probably abit of jealousy in it.
Mental. I only rue the fact that I forgot to blow him a kiss as per Jim's suggestion.
