Restaurants.

In true C4 stylee.
With the nice weather coming and the evenings getting longer it's time to ressurect the Friday night out. You know the sort of thing, get a bit smartened up, roof down, rumble off to a nice eatery and then after with the stars a shining take the longest possible route home.

Let's have 'em then.

.Mark - how about the Dukes Head on the Stockbridge road.... lovely game in the right season.

or talking Romey - La Parisienne?

Glad the curry debate is over. Personally I like the M&S ones.

Don't know either so there is another couple for the list.

Jo and I had lunch inthe tapas place in Romsey though and thought that was great.

.Mark...Just a thought, how about trying The Criterion (Marco-Pierre White) in Piccadilly? It'll cost you a small fortune but is highly recommended. Perhaps you could make a weekend of it and treat Jo to a West End show and an overnight stay!

Er, right, Cheers Roz,
Hope she never reads this, and if you think about mentioning this next week to her face I'll have to make up some scandalous lies about you

Joking aside though, we have been considering something like this for a while, any hotels with secure parking and valets that don't bumper-park around there?

Well Roz, I had actually heard SLK and MX-5 mentioned, although I promise not to mention it yet.

Anyone eaten/been out in wickham?? Looks nice enough (I'm thining of moving there)

In wickham you have the Wickham Wine Bar and the Bistro up the other end.

Wine bar is excellent food and service although not cheap as is the Bistro, but each time we go there it seems to be filled with ex-Sea Commander's and Brigadiar Generals and even we feel a tad on the young side

HH.

I think that's it. Right on the edge of town towards the A36.

Well we liked it.

We went during a lunch period and so it was reasonably quiet. The staff were very attentive and were willing to negotiate on certain dishes (we don't particularly like seafood), all in all a very enjoyable couple of hours.
