For those of you who don't know we hold a Piston Heads North West meet at a local pub annually on the Wirral. It has always been well received and all makes/marques of vehicles are welcome, so be sure to pop down.
It would be great to catch-up with you, see some familiar faces and fill the car park for another year.
Thanks,

How big is the car park at the Cottage Loaf? I must admit I've driven past loads and paid much attention, is there always enough space?
There's circa 60 Bay parking spaces. It's not a huge car park, but has always been adequate. I'll park on the grass along with my lot if needs be. Kev_Mk3 said:

It's okay Dave, I have developed a mis-fire and I'm in limp mode! DSLiverpool said:
Tom are you sorting that number plate out before tonight ;o)
Along with putting the engine back together, no! Note: I think we're going to be a lot busier than it may seem. I have noticed a couple of folk have been promoting the event outside of Pistonheads and from what I can see, expect double the numbers! Try and get down early folks.

Pictures please
Wow, I'm not quite sure where to start... I think it can be classed as a resounding success.I estimated that we would fill the car park, but not to that extent. As I mentioned to a few PH's, the word got out and I was even invited to the event by others I didn't recognise on social media! At one point we had the Huracan Spyder & Maserati Granturismo in the over-spill car park.
That said, it was a great atmosphere and really great to see some familiar faces and catch-up with you all. As a couple of you mentioned, I think we need a larger venue next year and so I'll have a think and see where is suitable.
I'll be uploading my pictures shortly, but there were plenty of others taking photos too. Cheers.
Ps. A big well done to the chap who managed to leave backwards.

I was there for the first time in a pals mk2 escort & really enjoyed it. Was good to see so many different cars all together to be enjoyed by enthusiasts.
Well done to the organiser(s) for sorting the venue & the weather lol
Will certainly be going to the next one, is there any other 'meets' like last nights rather than waiting for 12mths??
Yes, the first Tuesday of every month the Triumph Appreciation & Friends meet and all classics are welcome. It's generally a maturer audience, and the average age in the club is about 60! The Cottage Loaf promote this as 'Torque Talk' also.Well done to the organiser(s) for sorting the venue & the weather lol

Good work Tom, very good turnout.
Although something needs to be done about the dheads leaving sideways/backwards/on one wheel, it ruins the otherwise decent evening and makes us all look like tts.
Maybe I'm just getting old.
Thanks! I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately I didn't want to be branded the bad guy for having a say.Although something needs to be done about the dheads leaving sideways/backwards/on one wheel, it ruins the otherwise decent evening and makes us all look like tts.
Maybe I'm just getting old.
Only Dave in the 700bhp Corvette is allowed to leave a little irresponsibly, it's tradition!
Cheers

really good meet and some nice cars. I parked in the overflow out the way in my shonky bmw!
Shame about the grey 1 series hooning up and down the road and the volvo with the broken exhaust. I assume it was broken as it was so loud and when he put his food down he didnt go anywhere

Good stuff Tom, I think West Kirby car park next time ! (Chippy and ice cream) but last night was great, a bit longer than I thought (!) but the reversing and manoeuvring dexterity shown by some was top class and I think after seeing Adrian's GTR that it's my next car!

Thanks Tom.
Nice to see a great mix of cars there.
Thanks again all for popping down. I completely agree with all that's been said, and that's not my scene at all. It seems like we went viral!Nice to see a great mix of cars there.
We will always be welcome at the Cottage Loaf, but more thought & careful planning needed for next years event and certainly a bigger venue.
Cheers,
Lund

Can't break with tradition! Looked like a great meet, it's come a long way since the first! Sorry I couldn't make it, possibly moving back to the Wirral next year and will get back into the scene. If you need a bigger, more private venue then PM me Tom.
Cheers Beeznitch, would be good to see you again. Did you receive my email only last week?Spadge3 said:
