Cracking drive guys, loved it. I was a bit dubious at first driving down what seemed like a muddy potholed path (well you did say backroads,LOL), but it all turned out sweet. Bring on next time! Maybe finish at a pub next time so we can all sit and chat together instead of seperate tables. Just a thought! Hope to see you all soon.

Well we'll have to see what gets organised in the next couple of months, I think in fairness now its getting to the time of year when early mornings should be avoided, it will be starting to get icy soon, so maybe a sunday afternoon next time with a pub dinner?

Who's organising the next one!?!

Excellent day! And nice motors everyone, some brillian sounds, props to the guy in he griff for booting it on some very dubious surfaces!

Someday I'll be out in my own toy.

Thanks oliver for organising it, and massive thanks to Kenny for sharing the experience with me, really enjoyed it!

Anyone up for a wildcard entry in Rally GB next week?!

Finding myself drawn to the porsche classifieds, its a slippery slope...

D'oh, it was too early to think, but I knew I recognised your car from somewhere...

You're the bloke from Grimsby!!! Did you both come up from GY this morning??

Guy, nice motor - me and Kenny were following you for a while and impressed with it, looked very darty and direct round the twisty bits, totally flat to the road.

Got a bit worried when you were headed for that kerb on the tight lefthander though, was good to see you didn't succumb to the natural reaction, stayed off the brakes and just wound the lock right on! Looked like it may have been a minor heart in mouth moment from where we were sitting!

cheers mate. loving yours, looks so mean and wide when sat behind you.. we couldnt see anything infront of you!

i just feel it needs a bit more power. should be ordering 100cell milltek motorsport cat next week to match the rest of th emilltek system i have fitted and a remap which should see me with a reasonably healthy peak power gain but more importantly a huge gain in the mid range and get rid of the standard ecu flatspot.

im still very weary of RWD in the wet after coming from FWD hot hatches!

it was rather scary when heading towards that kerb! not sure if ya noticed but the front tyres are quite skinny to allow it to understeer a bit, was going a bit too quick trying to catch up and didnt anticipate that corner! not sure if it was understeering towards the kerb or whether it was brakes locking up.. was too busy trying not to crap myself..

the brakes on them are quite appauling.. the ABS either cuts in too early and you hardly stop or just lets it lock up!

and not sure if you heard the noise my brakes were making all day.. think the pads are down to the metal.. looks like new discs and pads all round are on the cards. maybe will sort soem of the braking problems!

What a great way to spend a Sunday morning! - great set of people and lovely cars.....well they looked lovely BEFORE we started.

Thanks for organising Oliver, good to meet you - I'm still chuckling how dead-pan you were saying 'yeah I was pressing on here and there, at one point it went a bit light at 150mph over a hill' or something like that!!!!!

Please don't get rid Al - me and Simon couldn't take our eyes of your carrera, it simply is the nuts that car especially when it's squat down powering up those hills.

biglaugh loving the pictures - especially the edited one Simon! the missus even laughed and she hates anything to do with porsches.

I know mate, I was first there, I was the person stood by the road telling you where the layby was!

I was drooling most of the day at the sound of your car, that exhaust is something special!
