Ah the 'lucky shirt' will have to stay in the wardrobe until next time

Think I would get too much attention walking in the 'Tool Box' with my Arab outfit on......the ensuing scene would look like something from the early Cannonball films a la Sammy Davis Jnr.

Have a good night.

No, fancied the Brunters day but cannot make it. Plus it would be my 4th Brunters event in the car, and I reckon it would kill the brakes and tyres for good....meaning a very large bill. Won't do anymore speed days till the next v-max to be honest, and will get some new boots prior to that one and renew the brakes after it.

Cannot make the evening time either

Have you chosen your attire for the evening yet Al? Care to give any clue as to your chosen 'look'?

On Saturday night I will mostly be wearing... scruffy shirt of some description, and whatever trousers and shoes happen to look like they might go with said shirt... although working on the "contrast is far more fun than complement" principle, this is by no means a guarantee

what is the dress code? will my usual scruffy layabout look (as modelled at cars in the park!) do?

I am gonna be relatively scruffy so I should hope so!
It is Leeds after all, not the world's most posh town!

(currently in exile from Leeds... I love it really!)

should be ok then! but tiger tiger in geordieland requires a dress code, because up there it's pretty much the top end of the market! (oooh matron, saucer of milk, minimax's office!)

Dress Code:- Smart Casual, whatever that means!
I’m assuming that trainers and blue demin are a nono, of course anything in Burbery check is de rigueur!!

Smart casual then - whatever that is indeed!!!

Depends how you wear scruffy... mucky jeans and trainers will probably not endear you to the doorman. They like you to look as if at least some effort has gone into getting the scruffy look 'just right'

Jeans are fine, although don't think you'll get in wearing trainers or t-shirts.

Is Tiger, Tiger an over 25's bar ? (Seem to recall this).

Have a good night all.

He doesn't say much but when he does.... that'll be Ben and Minimax into a sudden tail spin then!

Don't worry - hide in the middle of us grown ups, you'll be fine
