Oh, if anyone's going from near Grimsby I'd love to know, it's doubtful that I'll manage to get my car fixed by then, so I was going to rent a car, but I'd happily share someone's petrol wink

Cheers,

Not even gonna be able to make it to CITP now either frown

Our dog has just had spine surgery, so can't leave her alone for a while.
Also, won't be going anywhere for a while, due to the £3600 vets bill yikes

I'll just have to console myself with all the pics whistle

Hello from a Yorkshire lurker wavey I'm not going on the run, but will be passing Bolton Abbey nice and early on my way to the Lakes for a spot of hillwalking. Apolgies in advance if my silver Clio 172 with a chav exhaust gets in your way driving

C3BER won't be going I'm afraid, the car isn't up to a 90 mile run on twisty roads. We're having trust issues with the engine temp and water fountains under the bonnet. So until Ian or Steve at Track V Road have had a look on Monday we're playing it safe.

We will be at CITP :fingers crossed smiley: though so catch up with you there.

Was there at the last one, be rude not to pop along to this one !

Count my british wheelie bin in !
I'll be easy going round the bends because 1. the car handles like crap and 2. the power steering decided my forearms needed further development in not working anymore !

Cheers

Bit late in the day, but my passenger has dropped out too (actually, it was highly unlikley that she'd have joined me for a 6am start anyway sleep), so there's a spare seat in the Tam if anyone wants it? If so, just collar me at the start of the run.

See you tomorrow.....

Big up for Mark arranging the run out.

I (and my daughter) thoroughly enjoyed it and the old datsun did herself proud keeping up with more exotic company. thumbup

Travelling behind that backfiring Tamora was just mental. Going downhill on overrun was like following a mobile gunfight. shootbiggrin

As expected my 11 year old Datsun didn't get a second look at the main event, but I kind of like that sometimes but not always.

roll on the next one.

I gave up on that run at halfway, would have been better suited to 4x4's!
Was expecting some fast B roads.
Still, the run down was pretty entertaining! smile

Smoke shouldn't be coming through the gator should it !! Stupid car !!!

Thanks for the pebble dashing !! I'll make sure you're following me next time shoite spreader ! smile

What suprised me on that run was that gold wheelie bin of mine wasn't half bad across the hills as I dont really rate its handling much .. and dammit Mark in that Octavia VRS... jeees's .... never seen one of those driven like that !!!

Nice seeing some of the team again.. and meeting some new faces... good effort by all !

Cheers

I knew my phone call woke you up you lazy git! By six you should have been halfway along the friggin' parkway!! biggrin

Top day though thanks to Mark for organising it and to all the Yorkshire lads for hanging around for us to turn up.

Spent most of the time behind the two cerbs, both very impressive through the twisties. Both sound awesome too.

Has anyone heard from Stevie F? Hope all is well there.

Aye it was - your car looked mint passing by.

Shame you missed the rest of the run though, you should have just backed off a bit mate and saved the splitter. Maybe the next one will be on roads better suited for yours.
