I moved up from the south years ago. Looked at Wetherby, Boston Spa and York but Harrogate stood out and I felt at home there straight away. Had to move cos of work a few years ago but still have good mates there so go back a bit and always enjoy it.

However, as well travelled as you I may not be, so I can only compare it to the likes of Cheltenham, Leamington Spa, Bath and the likes. Oh, and in some Country Homes type survey a while back Harrogate was voted as the most desirable place in the country to live, so I'm obviously not alone. But that's just my opinion smile
Well, I've been there - and I think it's pretty dismal.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion - but yours is wrong on this. smile

Never been to Wildcats. Not really a fan of lapdancing clubs unless I can (offer a) kebab (to) a few of them afterwards for a fistfull of coppers.

Apologies for that, I'm sitting in the south of france with a glass of champ and I'm absolutely fking ed smile

I have filled in the bits that obviously you meant to say Ben, but it was very funny. I spat my tea out, as did Louise!
