It would be funny if it weren't so ludicrous - not being able to buy the car I want as it won't fit through the door! hehe
Have you actually tested one out for size yet?
I have never, ever actually seen a Diablo in Yorkshire. Apparently there is one and I have made the request via someone who may know the son of the owner!

But 220 into 212 is always going to be tricky even holding one of the mirrors in.

If it's inches you're talking, trust me, you won't think it will, but 8 inches does go in wink

cm I'm afraid ... the 4cm clearance each side at the rear haunches is positively mammoth in comparison! smile

Hurrah !

Trevor's UJ's are fine, shame about the gearbox, exhaust & a rear wheel bearing - oh well it's a TVR so I should expect minor problems.....

There are normally a few of the street lamp style lights working. It's not pitch black though, easily enough light to inspect cars. yes

I've just been out for a run to make sure the fresh oil I just put in is well worked around the engine. driving

See you all tonight!

Cheers
Tom

And a ride in the quickest car I think I have ever been in. Thank you Richard. I have been in some seriously quick cars including a RUF Turbo at 197mph, but I don't think even that had the stomach-through-your-back acceleration that yours does. And the outrageous grip! I am looking to see if I can get some 888s for the Ferrari, even if I have to go narrower!

Certainly a good crowd, although what happened to the guys that turned up in the cars and bikes then disappeared off again. What was that about?

It's good to have new people and cars, but it's first and foremost a pub meet where members of PH get together and have a natter about mainly car b0llx ... it is not all about the cars in the car park. If it turns into just another big car meet where most people don't know most others, and just turn up and wander around the cars in their own little group of mates, it would be a shame.

So, if you're going to come along, get yourselves onto Pistonheads.com, join in and say hello smile

ps: Cheers Ron - it was a nice treat to be able to have a few beers - and that 993 is a lovely piece of kit, especially over 5000 rpm - it just comes alive smile

Nice to see a few cars and people there! Unfortunately i could only stay half an hour or so (i did want to come in for a beer!) Will do next time!
Look forward to next meet! assume it will be light to much later then!
I was a little wary of caning the csl away from the pub as not to upset the locals too much!
