At some point I'll make it over to the the Jenny Wren. Unfortunately this weekend is the Classic Sportscar show at the NEC and I'm doing two days on the Sporting Bears with the '78.

Might see if I can get down, Kenyon, I'm sure I've seen your Fezza around. I live in Blyton.

Happy New Year to all.
Just a reminder the Jenny Wren Classic and Sports Car day is on this Sunday 13th Jan @ 1430 hrs.
Hope to see you there and I do understand the Pistonheads show at the NEC is on this weekend too.

The turn out all depends on the weather really. Within a three mile radius, there is a aston martin, 360, 997 turbo, tessa, lambo, tvr. The turn out is usually weather permitting. Hope to see their for pint maybe.biggrin

My mum and her partner own the wren and are car lovers. My mum has a 1967 250 damilar and her partner Colin has a DB7 Vantage.

Sounds good, I think I caught onto this thread a little later than I should have, seeing as I only live about 25 minutes away. Not heard of the Jenny Wren Inn before here, but I'm sure I'll find it....

I won't be bringing anything special though, I'm more of a gawker tongue out

I was looking at it on the map earlier, IIRC there's a road off the A46 that goes more or less straight there, isn't there?

I was at a couple of sureys on Sunday, so on route from Gainsborough to Keadby I thought I'd drive through the car park....some very nice specimens I must say....the DB7 is one of my all time fav's, especially in that green....the dark blue e-type coupe is a gem (personally I think its better looking than the roadster), didn't see your car kenyon, or the porsche?

However, you know those new(ish) houses in Gunness that were built on the site of the old Garden Centre? Well the one fronting the road has now been bought, and the owner has a mid-blue AM Vantage.....does PH have flyers?

Just go over, introduce yourself and kick him in the nuts. Apparently that's the way we do it around here!
