Great day, thanks Mark. It was well worth the many hours it took to drive home!

I'm only sorry I didn't wash the R8, but I can assure you that we'll be back for the next one biggrin
Ahem, where was your tax disc!

Did you take in the Helmsley TT or the Blakey road on your run over? If you didn't they're a must for next year.

In the glovebox, the damn thing kept falling off!

As for the roads I took, I'm not sure as I only really know a small part of the dales, the route to Malton was following Audi navigation! I'll look them up next time.

Just out of interest, was anyone on here in the red RX8 and a Red S2000 (?) behind, possibly being followed by the yellow Caterham with the V12 numberplate? I hope I didn't hold you up too much on the Buttercrambe - Malton Road...I certainly had fun trying to give you some sport!

Cheers,
T

Heres a link http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll236/philmar86... to all my photos (far too many to put up on here!)

Had a great morning, it was my first time attending one of these, it was well worth getting out of bed for, well done everyone involved clap. Also a big thumbs up for the money raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Hope everyone avoided the wrath of the cop waiting on the A64 too!

Well, at least I made it near! My alternator belt snapped only about 2 miles away!

The place I just had it serviced at will be in for a major ear bashing on Tuesday morning!
Were you in a pub car park? I'm sure i passed by you and a couple of other cars just nearby.

Didn't see another yellow 355 convertible there.

Thanks for organising everything Mark and everyone else helping out.
Yep, that was me! Parked up with the black Elise and the gorgeous Karmann Ghia!

And with guest appearances from Jonny in the Porsche and Garlick in the R8 spyder! Cheers for the support guys!
Did you get home ok then mate? Sad sight seeing the 355 going onto the truck frown
Yeah got home ok ta! Wasn't quite as much fun on the way home as the drive there.

Managed to cause a decent tailback though with people slowing down to see the Fezzer on the back of a lorry!

Who was the chap with his family who turned up in a very, very clean and tidy S14a 200SX?

If it was was you or you can pass the message on - thanks for letting me have a quick sit in your car, appreciate it!

Was a really good meet as usual, well done to Mark and all the crew.

Me and a couple of fellow Roadster drivers had a brill earlyu drive over Blakey ridge and back, got some half-decent footage on my newly acquired MD80 ebay cheapo camera, as reccomended by Jonty. I noticed Scotty also had one on his Caterham, as did more than one other car!

Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone else's to yesterday's hosts and organisers. Great morning, I thoroughly enjoyed my first PH event and look forward to the next one. Liked the laid back friendly atmosphere, loved the superb mix of cars. Wanted that Gulf 911 recreation badly!
