Here's another, why not.
It was a bloody early start from Leeds, more than made up for by the great traffic-free roads, nice cars, lovely countryside and friendly people. I think my favourite part was when we happened across another convoy of petrol heads and chased them around for a while, what are the odds?!
Hopefully we can get another one going before too long.

Looks fantastic Thanks Wildoliver for picking up the baton!
I couldn't make it as I had a pre-arranged run with a friend. We were on country roads north of Leeds just after 6am and home by 9:30 after touring the Dales. The last few miles home were awash with with cyclists so well worth the 5am alarm to beat them to the good stuff.
I'll have a think about leading Dales run later in the year.

I didn't know the "dawn raids" existed and only ever went on the tunnel runs in Leeds (and sometimes wonder what people drive now), they look like a lot of fun, sadly I don't have anything worth leaving the house to drive around in these days but maybe one day... please keep sharing the pictures in the meantime

What's a tunnel run?soad said:
Probably in the Leeds (City Centre).
Sorry yes, we'd meet up on the outskirts and then enjoy driving through the tunnels of Leeds at sensible but noisy speeds before having a bit of a static meet to take in the massive range of different cars that were there.A bit different to a proper drive out but a lot of fun.
