Cheers Martin ... except there's just the small matter of selling mine first I'm afraid!

Although it will be too high mileage and that interior is particularly suspect ... yellow dials just do not do it for me I'm afraid, especially when matched to an ally dash. At least they have the original wheels which is some consolation

No, I have my eye on one in particular, but we are both in a waiting game

So whats happening to the nice VRM?

Retention for a future 911, or you cashing it in... shame to let it go really, suits the car really well! How much more would one have to offer to keep it on the car?

Which one Dave? SXP 911 was on it when I bought it and now resides on one of the fastest 911 Turbos in the country The current plate is mine and will coming off the car. It will be sold with a standard "E" plate.

Ah ok, cheers Al.

Was a spot on plate... glad it's gone to a good home

The E plate it's on isn't E911 PSH by any chance?

Well ... it has now been sold

And not really surprisingly, to the first person who came to see it with absolutely no messing about on price.

Just need to get the plate swapped over and it will be going to it's new home near Huddersfield. Nice guy, has been into Healey's for years and I think he is going to run mine through the summer then take it off the road and really go to town on bringing it up to even better condition than it already is.

Very very sad to let it go but as long as I can find a good yellow 500 Griff then I'm sure I'll get over it

Bloody Hell, well done! That was quick, you're right it was a lovely car but just imagine the roof off motoring you can now look forward to in the summer bounce

Better get my skates on.... you might get your Tiv before mine Although Sunset Pearl Yellow specimens are not exactly ten a penny

Well, thats good news (cos you wanted to sell it, otherwise you wouldnt advertise it) and bad news (cos it looked like a good un and I never drove it and its always sad to sell a great car). 500 Griffs are so much more fun anyway so good luck with the search. You know where I am if you need a hand!

Just waiting for the guy to reply to my email asking if it is still available Martyn. I will be calling him shortly. He may be away.

Shame you're working away from home all week, I could use your expertise next Saturday, but I don't fancy a boot up the @rse from Sylvie as well as Vicki laugh

Glad (and sad) to see her sold Al. Nice to hear your buyer was a good'un too, seems all too rare these days. Sorry we didn't go for it in the end, as I am sure you understand, you just have to do the horsey thing.

Looking forward to seeing your next toy yes

Well, I'm off down on to Hertfordshire on Saturday with a deposit, so fingers crossed that the car is as good as it looks and sounds

Excellent news!

Just need to stop silly offers and time wasters on mine now and I could join you in the car hunting world!
