Bit harsh, but could have been much, much worse.

Still, think of all the money I'll save from not buying any Optimax!

6 Points, or a shorter ban (2 weeks) would have been spot on.

But then again,according to "Law on the web" the maximum I could have got was £2500!!!

Also an instant ban of up to 56 days was up for grabs too!

They said I should expect a £325 fine, where as I only got £200, plus the court costs which I was going to get whatever.

Then again a friend of mine got 5 points and a £300 fine a couple of months ago for exactly the same offence.

Got to look on the bright side eh?
