Looking to book a track day in a couple of months (when I've got used to car a bit), and was wondering whether Croft was any good for a beginner.

Had a look on www.trackdays.com and 6th July & 6th August are available for £179.

Is this reasonable ?

Anyone else fancy going ?

Just spoke to Croft, they said £85 for half day or £150 for full day.

These prices do include for 'some' instruction, although obviously not exclusive to you (that is an optional extra).

silly me.

if you book direct with croft, the only days available are saturdays, at £85 half day, £150 full day.

you can also book with www.trackdays.co.uk, which is where I saw the 6th july (tuesday), which is £179 full day.

i'm sure there are others, i'll dig a bit deeper, but midweek would be better for me (or sundays, but def. not saturdays).

Croft doesn't list a trackday on the 6th July

See here

6th July is just after PF and midweek. I won't be able to make this date anyway.

Listed under www.trackdays.co.uk

Probably not a not, but all trackdays direct from croft seem to be on saturdays, whereas with trackdays.co.uk you can do midweek.
