Cop Cars - Unmarked - What & Where, as much detail on cars!!
Discussion
In East Riding of Yorkshire the police have / had getting old now a fleet of petrol protons something like 1.6 petrol.
Nice to see not wasting money on flash motors.
I spoke to a friend of a friend and he actually said they handled a lot better than the newer Astras they are getting replaced with. So much so Astras have had to have alloys fitted for larger tyres.
Most are sticker end up but they did have a black and a silver couple of stealth cars.
Not very stealth mind as none else owns one !

Had a strange 'experience' last night and wondering if it's a police car.
Dark blue or black, Volvo V70 estate, it was on the A9 Perth bypass southbound to Broxden.
I noticed it in my rear mirrors and something didn't look 'right', seemed to be a light around/just below its rear-view mirror. A car joining on the slip road diverted my attention when it was getting closer and it burst past me quickly, possibly to clear slip-road and allow me to pull to lane 2 if required, it wasn't.
Due to the joining car I never had a chance to see the occupant(s) or look into the car, but noticed as it as past me that it had an extra light in the rear window. It looked like a high level brake light but this was at the bottom of the tailgate window and it had a high level one at the top. Also had a dog/luggage guard in the boot.
But, it was a private reg, V70 SCO.
It stayed in Lane 2 with lane 1 empty travelling in excess of the NSL, but not by by very much. I stayed at 70 as did everyone behind me, who the Volvo had previously overtaken, who earlier were travelling faster. At Broxden it stayed in lane 2 and took the M90, and eventually turned off at Bridge of Earn. It slowed down a bit before the junction but not enough to enable me to get alongside to have a look.
Just something about it didn't seem normal so was wondering if anyone else has seen it or knows if it is a cop car?

RJ11 PLZ - dark red, sorta plum coloured - A6 estate.
A737 @ Dalry today. It had already decloaked and pulled a Fiesta.
The online MOT check thingy shows as MOT expired 07 April 2016 for this car
RJ11 PLZ - Spotted this again today on the A78 @ Irvine.A737 @ Dalry today. It had already decloaked and pulled a Fiesta.
The online MOT check thingy shows as MOT expired 07 April 2016 for this car
Online checks still show it having no current MOT.

Black Volvo, V40 i think, in the Aberdeenshire area. Didn't get the reg, was a bit preoccupied.
Got pulled over on the A96 yesterday coming home from work Completely my own fault, went past at 85 (they got me on their gun too), not having a clue I was passing a police car.
Spotted the blue lights coming from quite a while back so I pulled into the left lane (I was about to go past some lorries) to let them past so to not hold them up, they seemed in a bit of a hurry! Had that horrible feeling in my stomach when they too pulled into the left lane.
After watching plenty of traffic police type programs, I was surprised they didn't breathalyse me, or quiz me about insurance etc. Just gave me my ticket and I was on my way. Lesson learnt, felt like a right prick sat in a lay-by with blue flashing lights.
