Its looking like a long one onshore in Sonils, which isn't ideal, but will see what happens when I get down I guess smile
Lucky you, I'm off to the DS-6 for 4 weeks.

Best enjoy the food on the DSL as it will go downhill when you come across the the DS6

First time for me on BP Clair on Friday. Heading up last minute for induction today in Aberdeen then offshore tomorrow. Senior engineer was planned for flight on Friday and induction tomorrow but he can't make it today.

Clair is good - nice rec rooms, and cracking food.

Windy though, as it's all open grating...

On the Wilhunter just now for a few days, pretty good place, first time offshore since October and on nights. Can't adjust, knackered!

Quick question for all you offshore workers. I'm just about to finish my degree in occupational safety and health in May and I will have grad IOSH status soon after.
Is there offshore opportunities for health and safety graduates?
Only if you want to be mocked and derided in equal measure

I suspect mocked even more than derided; but yes there is plenty and probably an increasing number.

I'm off to do the ALST training in Plymouth next month, got the BOSIET and OGUK med done. Then the CV fest begins! Anyone here on DSV's, what are the opportunities like for rookie ALST's? :-)

My son will soon be joining Beryl Bravo as a process control apprentice. I wondered if any one was on it or had been on it recently, what the platform was like, facilities etc?

Cheers
