My son will soon be joining Beryl Bravo as a process control apprentice. I wondered if any one was on it or had been on it recently, what the platform was like, facilities etc?
Cheers
Landed on it a few times on my way to Beryl Alpha. Cheers
Apache owned which means it's worked hard with the minimal maintenance done. Certainly that way on the BA.
They do spend money on their assets, but I think it is reluctantly.
My mate is out there as a welder. Says it's good food etc.
Flight is a nightmare. Around 1 hour 40 mins. Tell him to take a paper for the chopper!

Since it's oil related I'll post in here...
Has anyone worked in Kazakhstan before?
Been offered a job (28/28) in Tengiz and I am taking it. First trip is at the beginning of June.
Cheers.
Worked there for a few weeks over 10 years ago, worked in Atyrau, it was OK as far as I remember, though I was based in an office.Has anyone worked in Kazakhstan before?

Currently back in Angola. At least it is warm and sunny.
Was in Tengiz a long time ago when Chevron had just taken over, I built the pilot plant that resulted in the process tranes that are now out there
When I was there the Kazakhs were still running the show, it was an experience though
It was pretty basic then but I guess it's a lot more pleasant now ??

Hi guys. I've been to Aberdeen and completed my MIST BOSIET and Blaster/Painter courses. I'm now trying like mad to get offshore but getting nothing. Does anyone have any advice or contacts that they could help me out with?? Many thanks
Keep trying, get the CV out.But one thing that helped me was play golf.
