Will you be making an appearance Wazza?
Afraid not. I can't be bothered with the constant bad weather. Car is going into hibernation early this year.
Oh well saves me washing the car when I get home if the weather is that bad.

Where will you be coming from? If it's from Abz give Curry Burns a PM as he can send you out where they are meeting. But if you are leaving from Inv mail me.

Hey folks,

As some have said the driving is what you feel comfortable with. It makes it an unenjoyable event if everyone is going hell for leather trying to play catch up. As some will be leaving from Aberdeen/Edinburgh/Glasgow can I suggest one driver takes the lead and one driver stays at the rear of the group. Not nessesarly last but keeping an eye on folks so no one gets lost.

One the Applecross run we had my trusty Skyline pace car (who actually offered it to me for this run laugh) who took the lead knowing were to stop for all the folks to catch up, we also have the radio's/phone's to keep in contact. I then stayed at the back (I am not the fastest driver in the world don't ya know) trying to make sure no one got lost. (I only lost one driver on the Applecross run the gent in the BMWZ4 ................. dammit make that two.... I also lost my folks in my turbo). biglaugh

The last thing we want is for anyone to have a mishap on the road. Its to be an enjoyable day out for everyone and for us all to catch up and have a good banter with folks with the same interests in cars.

As long as you remember.... it's a run not a race. smile

Hey Rob. I have no idea what time we would be leaving inverness yet but we would be leaving from the same place as last time (as we have not been banned from there yet laugh) Just drop me an email when you know if you can make it bud.

The car park to the Oyster is very small you know.... and there isn't really anywhere else to park, so it's first come, first served, LOL
Strange, manager assured me the carpark was fine as they also had spaces across the road. But then again I would imagine it would be first come first served in any carpark. rolleyes

OK so.... I have been back onto the phone with the Oyster Inn. They have 12 spaces at the rear of the building, 8 or so at the front and room to fit another 12 odd across the road at the viewpoint. As someone has already said bunching up and blocking in cars should not be a problem. I have adjusted this list as some have indicated they are "maybe going", some are passengers and some have unfortunatley pulled out. I would guess the cars going will be in the region of 30ish.

Anyone who has been on the applecross run will already know they also have limited spaces. We managed to park up 45 car's on that run.

If anyone has a suggestion of where else to get lunch with bigger parking in the Oban aera, feel free to make it and pass on their phone number to me so I can contact them. Better getting this sorted out sooner rather than later.

Cheers
Avril

Thanks! I just noticed there your favorite color for the sagaris is chameleon green, mine too! Had one ordered with the factory when it shut down frown I would adore to have the Diablo but i'm bringing it over for a service and dropping it off and collecting the Morgan Aero 8 up in Edinburgh smile So that will be my run car!

Another great car, and very unusual colour on it as well! Look forward to seeing you.

On the parking issue, I looked at a few pics on google and it doesn't seem like there's enough space for 40 or so cars at the Inn...
