I'm going to try and get to that evening as well if possible so you might have two Ultimas to pick from! (Though George's black one looks cooler and goes faster )

Dave,
I have a mere 415 hp - I thought your's was a bit gruntier. Whatever, key is getting the thing to handle and brake especially for KH, so you don't hold up the ubiquitous Elise's through Duffus to the chicane - they certainly can't pass on the straights unless you back off.

In theory. American Speed's dyno claimed 456 bhp but the Dastek dyno figured that 400 bhp was more like a while back (thanks to Fergus for organising that ). I've got my excuses though: fitted a 6k rpm rev limiter chip rather than a 6.2k, couldn't get full throttle only 90-95% and the clutch was dragging which affected the tranmission loss calc...honest To be honest I think the exhaust ate most of the hp.

The handling through Duffus->Glenvarigill will be important. I think that lack of experience might be my own biggest problem... I've only been karting once...and am doing my first track day this Sunday.

Dave,
Good luck, have fun and pray that its dry! If damp, worth a play in the rain but if your's is set up like mine, needs a bit of caution to say the least. Maybe a bag of cement behind front bulkhead would help.
I too am a novice, but in the dry the Ultima quite an easy tool to use.
