What are you guys DOING to your TVR's!!!!

I know, your getting me worried. Even though i've only driven mine about 150 miles since i bought it, it still broke down on me too. LOL Not that im worried too much. Think its only the 100 Amp fuse for the alternator. How many TVR owners are there in Aberdeen now?

my car is away having a poly bush kit fitted then goes south for a service/clutch and re-tune as fitting the de-cats has caused it to overfuel quite badly and poop flames out the rear quite regularly.

its not broken down!!

i would say there are 30+ owners in and around aberdeen but many don't use them often enough and only see the light of day in summertime.

iv done 12k in mine in the last year.

As a quick thread detour, are any of you guys with the serious metal planning on going down to this Fighting Torque event?

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=388939
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=390419

I know cerbfan is, any others? If so, I would gladly take any spare passenger seat! I would love to make it down to this, so am trying as many ways as possible to get an invite If anyone is thinking about it, drop me an email, help keep this thread on topic.

Cheers!

Yep, my thoughts exactly, I think if you've not got 350bhp+ you'd be out of your depth at this thing biggrin

I'm doing the website for the event now so the passenger seat is no longer needed!

But anyway, back on topic, is this going ahead on the 2nd then yeah?

I had easiest the slowest car at the last one, but it was still good fun, and didn't feel out of place biggrin

Exactly. I was watching you tailing the porker, your car still managed to keep up (although my driver knew I would be watching her lol). Once we got stopped at the end of the run Brenda was telling me she could not lose ya. But the little bu66er took off once she got onto the A9!!

Peeps, re. the Cairn O Mount run on the 2nd. Can I suggest that we make this an evening thing?

Holiday weekend an everyfing, you know. Sat afternoon's going to be busy with Grockles. How about we make a 6pm. start from Mill Inn. This would avoid the grockle problem but also allow for some far better photo opportunities at the Cairn and also Stonehaven. Evening sunlight (if we're lucky enough)

Remember, it doesn't get dark until well after 9pm.

Stang,Baby Stang, ScotViper, are you guys or anyone else coming down from Inverness over the Lecht? I may be in Inverness then and would be good if we got a wee convoy going. driving
