Why are there so many drivers that see a road at 50mph limit, see slip roads, hiding spots in the barriers etc and think, I know, I will put the foot down here!!
Because it is 3 or 4 lanes wide, very well surfaced and clear lines of sight for the majority of it.Driving that road at 50 feels like breaking down.
SF09 RFX Dark green metallic Range Rover. Tonight on the M8 at the Govan on ramp near Asda. Very discreet, especially in British racing green paint! Giving a Toyota Corolla the full benefit of its uncloaking device as the crew lit up all their hidden lights to `alert` the driver of the Corolla to their wish to parly with them.
Wonder who that Range Rover belongs to?
Have seen it a few times, think its the same one that gets wheeled out when there are big high profile cases like the one a couple of years ago when the suspect in an Irish bombing was arrested in Glasgow and subsequently police escort to the airport.
Wonder if its a chief-supers or someone like that who may use the lights when something really worthy is needing addressed but just a normal "company car" most of the time?

A mate passed this on: Unmarked black VW Passat estate HC11 JRZ on the M8 at Cardonald
That's sneaky! As if things aren't messy enough now with the Audis and non-SF plates..Chances are it was clean/well looked after, no modifications, no stickers in the rear window etc etc.

I saw a silver Audi A4 saloon stop a van on the M73 this afternoon,SF12 C??(can't remember the full plate now).
The F-i-L was stopped in Cumbernauld a few hours later by what sounds like the same car.
Saw it on the M80 today, it's SF12CEJ and looks like a boggo council-spec silver A4.The F-i-L was stopped in Cumbernauld a few hours later by what sounds like the same car.
Spotted a black Vauxhall Insignia (I think?) with a private plate and Ebay type blue lights on the roof on the M77. I assume this must be a fire-chief's car?
Who else would use cars like this (I've seen a few around), and what training / powers do they have? I hope it's a fire-chief's car, because I can't see many people stopping for a car like that even if it is police!

As I drove along towards Charing Cross they pulled up to the Volvo behind me. Put on the lights and siren for them to pull over onto the hard shoulder section there so had to withdraw them going over the Kingston bridge and then they did manage to pull the Volvo on the shoulder before the M77. Not sure how the Volvo driver missed it or didn't believe they were asking him to pull over.

Silver Audi A4 the other day. Tucked away on the slip road J1 M77 southbound. Sneaky!
This audi has been pulling cars on the M77 for the past couple of weeks and was sitting on the road from the fenwick off slip into Kilmarnock. Quite discreet especially with the amount of new A4's battering up and down motorways these days! Gassing Station | Scotland | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
