The Lecht is an amazing drive from here. Take it all the way to the cairngorms for a stop off at the restaurant on top and you've got an excellent run! then you get to do it all again on the way back!

Brilliant route that.

Forgot to ask, is anyway heading to the Mill from the Turriff side of aberdeen, because even with directions, i'll probably get lost.

Im heading West (to the Isles - Lewis) for the weekend, hence the reason why Stang has removed me from the list. (Pre arranged wee swally!)

Looks like a fab line-up, so I hope you all take piccies and show me what Im missing.

Barry what's the Mill like to get something to eat in. The nessy clan might want a bite to eat first after coming over the lecht.

Stang, excellent food at the Mill. If there's going to be a few up for dining I can make a booking for you.

I woudl, but I would be embarrasing myself next to the quality metal that is going to be there.
I had easiest the slowest car at the last one, but it was still good fun, and didn't feel out of place biggrin

I think you got the wrong end of the stick, I think he was talking about keeping up with the cars at Fighting Torque as opposed to the run out. Hence the passenger seat request as there are no spectators allowed at the event.

What i was meaning, was that i didnt want to hold people up by daudling in my corsa.

But if anyone has a passenger seat for Fighting Torque then i'll take up the offer biggrin

As a quick thread detour, are any of you guys with the serious metal planning on going down to this Fighting Torque event?

I know cerbfan is, any others? If so, I would gladly take any spare passenger seat! I would love to make it down to this, so am trying as many ways as possible to get an invite wink If anyone is thinking about it, drop me an email, help keep this thread on topic.

Cheers!
Keep up at the back Hollowpockets sweety laugh

You got it in one bud! biggrin

If this is happening in the evening, I'm afraid I'll have to pull out because I've got a night out on the 2nd. And by the sound of things the evening is the better option, unfortunately! Put me down for the next one though! biggrin

Tino, who were you passengering with anyway, and did you say that your seat was now free?
On the off chance I still make this, and have an empty passenger seat, you're welcome to jump in with me. Although I've got a couple of likely candidates already for that seat, so don't get you're hopes up too much! smile
