Nicholas B - I've been driving past your Chim every day for a while now, I wondered where it had gone! I live in North Berwick.

Give me a shout when you pass, what do you drive ?

Cheers

Most of the time, a scruffy looking red Toyota MR2 Mk1. Some of the time, something more boring which is currently a for-sale Vauxhall Omega.

Gonna go for it and organise a MacPistonheadsfest for sometime in May.
Anyone up for it mail me through my profile. If good enough response, then we can get the idea off the ground. All suggestions appreciated.

Okay, noted. Anyone want to have me as a passenger? (as I don't think I'm gonna have my 'S' by then).

Size Nine Elm: if this drive is in Scotland, wouldn't it be possible to combine it with MacPistonfest? What is the format of the 'drive'? (e.g. driving all day with breaks for food only; driving to an event for a wee bit of a show; etc...) - sounds like it might be the ideal thing to have alongside MacPistonfest...

Steve.

Andy Anderson has spent a lot of time organising the TVR trip, lunch/afternoon stops for 50 people, meeting up with the NE TVR group south of the border for lunch, etc, so I don't think its amenable to sudden expansion, sorry.

Anyway, that makes McPistonFest another day out

Hey Jamster, I stayed in Dalgety Bay for 10 years. Parents just moved out to Crossford in the summer, and I alternate between there and Glasgow where I'm currently studying at University.

Have you seen the F40 which resides somewhere in the Bay? I have seen it on two occasions on the link road. I could'nt believe my eyes when I first saw it, amazing car.

I've seen a few TVR's also, a yellow Cerbera and a chim/griff down by the Spinnies.

Cheers,
Chris.

Hey ccam84, the yellow cerb would have been Willie Balls 4.5 although he's sold it now.
I've not seen the ferrari though, bugger! Would have toasted him anyway !!

Hi,

I think I know the F40 you mean. It's quite often up at Knockhill around race meetings.

BTW I'm from Edinburgh and am currently trying to get my Ultima GTR registered and on the road...not long till hopefully.

Yeah, there where 2(!) F40's at last summers Glenvarigill Knockhill trackday. Along with a host of 911's, 355's but only one Cerbera I seem to recall.

Looking forward to the Powertour in May, maybe see some of you's there.

Cheers,
Chris.
