Is £128 to get wheels refurbed too good to be true?

What colour is your Ignis?
Silver. All Ignis Sports came with white wheels. Mine really need refurbished, so now is the time to make the choice!
Any industrial powdercoating company (there will be one on your local industrial estate) will be happy to blast and powdercoat your wheels if you remove your tyres.
Much tougher than paint, but perhaps not as nice a finish as a good spray job.
I had 4x 18" porsche wheels done for £90 last year.
However if they are curbed or bent they won't repair the damage so if its bad it will still be visible, and they likely won't be used to wheels so you have to explicitly ask them to mask the inner faces and the tapers of the bolt holes.
I had them done a solid colour, but they would also paint some lacquer on them for a few quid more.

I bit the bullet and had my wheels refinnished by these guys in gloss black on my strokered 2.4 Evo and glad i did.. Met the guys there and they are all nice chaps.. I asked them to educate me on the process they employ, which they kindly obliged..there are no corners cut. and the whole term you get what you pay for doesnt apply in this instance, They use industrial equipment, and own the building they work from. happy with the results..
This was maybe 6 weeks ago and they are holding up fine considering iv got 550bhp under my right foot theres no flaking or stone chips..

Is that debris embedded in the paint at the 5 o'clock position on the rim? Those reflections look like they shouldn't be there? This was maybe 6 weeks ago and they are holding up fine considering iv got 550bhp under my right foot theres no flaking or stone chips..
